Mangaluru: Bus services suspended after stone pelting incidents

Mangaluru, May 2, 2025: Private and KSRTC bus services have been suspended in the city since Friday morning after incidents of stone pelting.

In the first case, some miscreants hurled stones at a bus near the University College following which private bus operators suspended service.

Meanwhile, as many as four KSRTC buses arriving from Bengaluru were stoned near Pumpwell. The glass windows of the buses were damaged and passengers too were injured. The KSRTC too has suspended bus services.

 

Many shops and business establishments have downed shutters in the city.
