Mangaluru: Bakery owner ends life

Mangaluru, Aug 22, 2023: A bakery owner has ended his life at his residence at Shantibagh near Kuttar in Ullal police limits on August 21, Monday.

The deceased is Rudresh (36) who hailed from Hassan district. He was running the Bengaluru Iyengar Bakery near Kuttar and Yenepoya Hospital. He is survived by his wife and two children.

 

The family stayed at a rented house at Shantibagh. The family which was earlier staying at Santoshnagar had shifted to Shantibagh recently. The family had moved from Hassan 12 years ago.

Rudresh who had come home for tea on Monday had not returned to the bakery, He slept in one room while his wife Hemalatha who had recently undergone ear surgery was resting in another room. However by the time she woke up, she found Rudresh hanging.

It is learnt, Rudresh was undergoing treatment for heart ailment since some time. However the exact cause of the suicide is not known. Rudresh was a man of friendly nature and had many friends in the area.
