Mangaluru, Mar 7, 2026: All scheduled international flights of Air India Express departing from Mangaluru International Airport on March 7 have been cancelled due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran and the resulting airspace restrictions.

The decision has been taken in view of security restrictions imposed across key Middle East air corridors following the Iran–Israel tensions, prioritising passenger safety.

Flights canceled

Major hubs such as airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other Gulf destinations are also reported to have imposed operational restrictions. As a result, airlines have been forced to cancel services or reroute flights.

Indian carriers have also been significantly affected by the situation. Due to continued airspace closures, thousands of flights have reportedly been cancelled. IndiGo alone has cancelled more than 140 international flights on March 7.

Airlines have announced full waivers and refunds for passengers affected by the disruption. Travellers who have booked tickets are advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest schedule updates, rebooking options, or refund details.
