Mangaluru: ASI collapses to death while on way to office

Mangaluru, Mar 05, 2022: An Assistant Sub-Inspector serving in the Fingerprint Section at the SP Office in Mangaluru, collapsed to death in a tragic incident on March 4, Friday.

 

The deceased is Thippanna Nagavva Madara (37) who hailed from Ramadurga in Belagavi.

On Friday at around 4 pm he was walking towards  his office when he  fell sick all of a sudden near the AB Shetty Circle and collapsed.

Some other police personnel who were with him immediately rushed  him to the MV Shetty Hospital and from there to KMC Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased ASI was promoted as ASI in finger print section six months ago and had served as a head constable in Bagalkot. He had joined the Police Department in 2011  and is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
