Mangaluru: 534 cases of weekend curfew rule violation

Mangaluru, Jan 10, 2022: As  many as 534 cases  have been registered in Dakshina Kannada district on January 9, Sunday for violation of weekend curfew imposed by the state government to check Covid-19 cases. A total of Rs 1,75,400 has been collected as fine from violators.

 

On Sunday 240 cases of violation of mask rules were  registered and Rs 39,570 fine amount was collected. As many as 47 vehicles were seized for violation of curfew rules. The vehicles were subsequently released on payment of fine amount by their owners.
