Mangaluru: 31 stolen/lost mobile phones recovered by cops; handed over to rightful owners

Mangaluru, Mar 17, 2023: As many as 31 mobile phones that were either stolen or lost were returned to their rightful owners at a function held at the City Police Commissionerate on March 16, Thursday.

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain said the stolen/lost phones were traced with much effort and added that the details of 400 such phones were uploaded on the Central Equipment Identity Register which facilitated in tracing of 124 phones. Out of this the Department managed to recover 39 phones and of them 31 were handed over to the owners.

Senior police officials were present at the spot.
