Mangaluru: 14 year old boy commits suicide

Mangaluru, Jan 31, 2023: A 14 year old boy has committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his house at Kotimura in Padavu B village on January 30, Monday.

 

The deceased is Jnanesh, son of Jagadish.  Police said Jnanesh was reprimanded by his parents for excessive use of mobile phone following which the boy went inside his room and bolted the door. However when he did not come out for a long time, his family members tried to peek through the window and to their shock found Jnanesh hanging.

Kankanady police have registered a case.
