Mangalorean Varsha strikes gold at state athletic championships

Mangalore, Aug 7, 2013:  Varsha R Poojari, a student of St Aloysius College in Mangalore  has made the city proud by clinching  gold medals in the 100 and 200 meters race  in the  State Athletic Championships held at Shimoga.

 

She bagged gold in the under -18 category.

 

Varsha is now qualified for the South India Sports meet to be held at Madhurai from August 20 to 22.

She is being coached by Dinesh Kunder, International trainer.
