Mangalore firm accused of cheating Gulf job aspirants

Mangalore, Oct 12, 2013 :It has been gathered that a firm named MITA Manpower Consultancy owned by Mahesh Chandra and located at Balmatta in Mangalore, has cheated several Gulf job aspirants after promising them jobs in Afghanistan and Malaysia.

It has been alleged that  Mahesh Chandra had collected lakhs from job aspirants and had sent them abroad  after giving them fake visa and documents. But the  people who left abroad relying on his promise,  failed to get the promised job. It has now been learnt that  11 of those who had gone abroad have been arrested as  the visiting visa period  had expired.

The family members of the  victims gathered in large numbers at the firm’s office at Balmatta on October 11, Friday. They even approached the Bunder police station to lodge a complaint. When the firm owner Mahesh Chandra was contacted over phone, he has reportedly assured to  keep up his words and provide jobs to all applicants by October 21.
