Mangalore cheers ‘Challenging Star’ Darshan

Mangalore, Dec 4, 2012: Fans of Sandalwood star Darshan, went almost crazy on catching a glimpse of their favourite actor in Mangalore on December 4, Saturday. The occasion was the arrival of the Vijayayatre of the  team of the Kannada movie “ Kranthi Veera Sangolli Rayanna” with Darshan in the lead role.

The Yatra passed through Jyothi Circle and concluded near the University College. Hundreds of people had gathered at the venue on gathering the news and Darshan had a tough time alighting from the vehicle  to visit the Central Talkies which is screening the film based on the life of Sangolli Rayanna, the well-known freedom fighter and warrior from Karnataka.

 

 

Speaking to the media men who were present, Darshan had a word of praise for Mangaloreans, when he said Mangalore had always extending overwhelming support for all  his films in the past. He also requested people to come to theatres to watch his latest movie ‘Kranthi Veera Sangolli Rayanna” and make it a super hit. The film is running in theatres since five weeks.

The film crew later left the city to Aruna Theatre in Puttur and other theatres where the film is being screened.

The star cast of the film   include Nikita Tukral, Jayaprada, Srinivasmurthy, Umashree, Avinash, Doddanna, Shashikumar and Girija Lokesh.
