Mangalore, Sep 28, 2013: The Two-Day Property Exhibition– CREDAI Realty Expo-2013 was inaugurated by B. Ramanatha Rai, DK District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Forest and Ecology at the TMA Pai Convention Hall on September 28, Saturday.
In his inaugural address, Rai said Mangalore is the second largest developing city after Bangalore. He said he was happy to note that many youngsters have entered the construction and real estate industry in Mangalore.
On this occasion, Rai chose to exhort builders to give importance to environment protection, while raising constructions. He also requested the builders to construct buildings in strict adherence to the rules.
Minister for Urban Development Vinay Kumar Sorake said that the population of the city has increased drastically when compared to the census from 2001 to 2011. CREDAI represents over 6,000 developers through 18 member associations across the country. The initiative by CREDAI helps developers to work together towards better practices, he said.
Pushparaj Jain, President of CREDAI, Mangalore, welcomed the gathering and delivered the keynote address.
