Mangalore Today Special Issue on Venkatramana Temple Presented to Kashi Math Seers

Mangalore, Feb 1, 2012: The Special Issue of our parent publication Mangalore Today English Monthly magazine on Punar Prathistapana celebrations of Sri Venkatramana Temple was released on the occasion of the annual Car Festival of the temple on 30th January 2012. The editor-publisher of Mangalore Today, V. U. George called on Sri Samyameendra Thirtha Swami, the junior pontiff of Sri Kashi Math Samsthan and presented copies of the magazine to him along with a personal copy for the senior pontiff Sri Sudheendra Thirtha Swamiji. The senior and junior swamis have been camping at the temple since 10th January to participate in the festivity.

 

 

 

 

Sri Samyameendra Thirtha Swami expressed his happiness over the publication’s effort to compile the history of the GSB community and the temple and returned a blessed copy of the magazine to Mr. George. Team Mangalore Today is elated that the beloved swamijis were very impressed by the exclusive coverage of the event and showed keen interest in the content.
