Mangalore: Taluk level Dasara Sports Meet kicks off

Mangalore, Sep 2, 2013: The Mangalore taluk level Dasara Sports Meet   was inaugurated at Mangala Stadium on September 2, Monday by Zilla Panchayat Vice President Rithesh Shetty. The meet has been organised by the Zilla Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat and Department of Youth Services and Sports.

 

 

In his address,Shetty stressed the need to encourage sporting talents in the district. He also urged the participants to  compete in the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Harish Kumar, President of Mangalore Taluk Panchayat presided over the function. Asha R Suvarna,  Yashwanthi R Alva, Zilla Panchayat Members and  Jayanthi R, Corporator were also present.
