Mangalore: Speeding bus kills pedestrian at Nagori

Mangalore, Dec 4, 2012 :  A pedestrian was killed on the spot after he was run over by a Puttur-Mangalore bus near Nagori on December 3, Monday night. The incident occurred at around 8.45 pm near Blue Park at Nagori.

 

 

The bus by name Phalguni (KA 19D 3139) was speeding towards the city from Puttur, in the process knocking down the pedestrian who has been identified as James(23) of Nagori.
The body of James lay unattended on the road for over half an hour, forcing the locals to protest.
