Mangalore: Speeding KSRTC bus hits parked car near Jyothi circle

Mangalore, May 27, 2013: A speeding KSRTC bus hit a stationed Wagon R which due to the impact of the collision hit a nearby  transformer  opposite Gold Finch near Jyothi Circle on May 27, Monday evening. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident as the owners of the Wagon R were away and no pedestrians were also around.

The car and the transformer were damaged  in the mishap. According to eyewitnesses the bus was overspeeding, while some onlookers said haphazard parking of vehicles also added to the problem.

Traffic was disrupted for some time owing to the mishap. Traffic police arrived at the spot and  regulated traffic.
