Mangalore: Pramod Mutalik was the ‘target’ of arrested 6 Chota Shakeel aides

Mangalore, Dec 14, 2012 : The six Chota Shakeel aides who were arrested by the CCB and DCIB sleuths  in Mangalore recently have made a staggering revelation that they had conspired to eliminate Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Mutalik.

 

muthaik It was earlier reported that the six had planned to kill a prominent person of the city. The police had seized lethal weapons, sim cards, ATM cards, Aadhar cards, a car and mobile phone from the accused namely Ravi, Purushottam, Devaraj, Sohail Ismail and Ram. They have now been produced to court and remanded to judicial custody till December 26.


Reports said the  six, also associates of Parandhama, a Bangalore based criminal, had come to Mangalore on November 12  and were nabbed while they were waiting in the Maruti Zen car near Besant complex for   Sohail  Ismail  who happens to be the nephew of Rasheed Malabari and who had been to the prison to meet Malabari.


It is learnt, they had conspired to kill Mutalik at the behest of Rasheed  Malabari.
