Mangalore: Police arrest CITU members during protest

Mangalore, Jan 27, 2014: During the protest staged by CITU against the Hind Mazdoor Sangh (HMS) district president Sureshchandra Shetty at Ballalbagh on January 27, Monday, the police detained around 30 CITU activists.

 

 

 

 

Police detained CPI(M) leader Sunil Kumar Bajal and CITU district general secretary Vasanth Acharya , who was heading towards the residence of Sureshchandra Shetty along with 45 activists.

The protestors alleged that, Sureshchandra Shetty was against the local working in the railway goods shed and Aspinwall company godown.
