Mangalore, November 11, 2011: The 3 Hungry Men, a food reviewer portal based in Mangalore, launched a tour to discover restaurants along NH66. The tour was flagged off by Mangalore Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh at 9:00 a.m. outside Hot Bitez, Jail Road.
Cartoonist Nikhil Pai, freelance journalist R. Rajath, and public speaker Colin Vernon D’Souza are going on a motorbike tour of cities along the national highway in Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra in order to review various restaurants and certify them for unique dishes served.
Speaking about the tour, Nikhil said that the trio has already made a list of restaurants to visit along the stretch by conducting a Facebook poll. He promised that the trio will upload their experiences on their website the3hungrymen.com when they return to Mangalore on Nov 22. He also said that a group of riders will be accompanying them to convey the message of safety while riding.
The trio will travel through cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Mahabaleshwar, Gokarna, Goa, and Kundapur and will review various restaurants along the way.
They are scheduled to be back on Nov 22, and a valedictory of the tour will be held on Nov 27 in Hotel Moti Mahal along with a career counseling event for students, arranged by MAD.
They will be traveling through Mumbai, Pune, Mahabaleshwar, Goa, Gokarna, and Kundapur.
