Mangalore : Parents’ Forum protests against erratic power cuts

Mangalore, Mar 23, 2013  : The erratic power cuts by the MESCOM, particularly during the exam time of the students, has been testing the patience of the parents. On March 22, Friday, members of the Mangalore taluk unit of the  Rashtriya Vidyarthi Poshakara Vedike staged a protest in front of the MESCOM office at Attavar  condemning the frequent power cuts.

The Vedike members said the MESCOM was playing with the future of the students through its unscheduled load shedding and demanded steps to end the  power problem.

Janardhan Salian, Founder President of the Vedike,  its office bearers Vishwanath Shetty , Ravi Shetty, Narayana, Mohammad  Sharief and several members took part in the protest.
