
Mangalore, Nov 5, 2013 : The Mangalore unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) organised a meet on Alternative Politics at the NGO Hall on November 4, Monday.
Addressing the convention, AK Narayan, Kerala State Committee Member of the CPI(M) said that the nation wanted alternative set of policies in favour of the ignored sections of society. Making it clear that the nation needed alternative polices and not alternative leaders, he said the present policies of the UPA government were favouring the corporates. He was also critical of the state government and said the Siddaramaiah government has lost the faith of the people.
Muneer Katipalla, District President of the DYFI, Sunil Kumar Bajal, Secretary of the CPI(M) city unit and others participated in the convention.
