Mangalore: Nalin Kumar backs hunger stir by Jain Mutt seer seeking CBI probe in Basadi burglary

Mangalore, Oct 1, 2013: Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has pledged his support for the hunger strike which Sri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Jain Mutt, Moodbidri plans to undertake on October 2 demanding a CBI probe into the Siddantha Darshana Mandir burglary case.

The seer has already stated that he would be on a hunger strike from 8.30 am to 5 pm seeking a CBI investigation to recover the antique and treasured idols which have been stolen from the Basadi.

Nalin Kumar Kateel has requested the state government to consider the case seriously and  ensure that it was handed over to the CBI as the probe until now has not been able to recover  most of the stolen idols.
