Mangalore: Man Dies From Mobile Phone Shock in Konaje

Mangalore, Jan 17, 2013: An young man died when the mobile phone kept on for charging blew up in Pavoor Merlapadavu near Konaje on Thursaday, January 17, 2013.

The victim is identified as Midhun, aged 25, a construction worker hailing from Orisa.

Midhun had kept his mobile phone for charging when he returned from work in the evening. It is believed that he received a call while the mobile was still on charging. The mobile set blew up in his hand. He was holding the mobile set which was still connected to the power plug.  He died off electric shock said the police.

Konaje Police is investigating the case.
