Mangalore : Lovers’ plan to elope foiled by sister

Mangalore, May 23, 2013 :  A young woman’s plan to elope with her lover to Gujarat was foiled by her younger sister in Mangalore on May 20, Monday.

It is learnt, the girl from a family in Mulki who was settled in Gujarat was in love with a neighbouring Gujarathi youth who was a divorcee and  did not have a good job.  When the two continued their affair despite warning from the girl’s family, the girl was sent  to  her native place Mulki. But still the two  remained in touch through cell phone.

 

 

 

Recently, the two had planned to elope and the youth had come all the way to Mulki in a  hired car. The girl too was all set and had arrived at  a hotel at Ballalbagh to meet her  lover. However, her sister who  suspected something fishy had followed the girl and as soon as she saw her board a car, she raised an alarm when the public around caught hold of the youth.

The youth was later let off by the police with a warning as the girl’s parents did not want to register any complaint.
