Mangalore : II PUC toppers bring joy abound

Mangalore, May 08, 2014: The II PUC exam results announced on May 8, Thursday has brought joy to Mangalore. If the district has stood first in the state in total pass percentage, Mangalore is proud of its II PUC toppers.

 

 

 

 

 

Venkatesh Kamath of Canara Pre-University College who scored 594 in Science (PCME) Stream has topped the state. Pooja Baliga also of the same college has stood second in the state in Science (PCMS) stream. She scored 593 marks.

Venkatesh, son of Sudha Kamath and G Suresh Kamath  has scored cent per cent in Electronics, Mathematics and Chemistry and 99 in Physics. He now aspires to do his engineering in electronics.

Second rank holder Pooja is the daughter of Chandrika Baliga and Radhakrishna. Other meritorious students are  Sridevi Bhat of Expert PU College who scored 590 in Science,  Sanchita Kamath of St Agnes, a Commerce student who scored 100 in four subjects and Dhanashree Deshpande of Expert PU College who scored 588 in Science stream.
