Mangalore: Electric tower crashes over house in Pavoor

Mangalore, Nov 5, 2013 : The heavy rains accompanied by strong winds, thunder and lightning  on November 3, Sunday evening led to the collapse of an electric  tower over a house near Killur in Pavoor village. The  tower also damaged an electric pole.

Luckily none of the occupants of the house were injured in the mishap. The house was partially damaged. However, more damage  was averted as the electric tower had been rendered unused.

It is learnt, there were a total if six persons including a child in the house owned by Gangayya Poojari. Though none were hurt, Gangayya Poojari is in a state of shock since the incident took place.
