BJP Press Meet

MLC Monappa Bhandary told reporters today that making statements against a party that he once part of does not hold good for him. Stating that Dhananjay Kumar won four terms as an election candidate from the BJP, he said that he was also given a minister’s post in the first BJP-led central government of India and the post of the state government’s Delhi representative in spite of which he is talking against the party. He is an ungrateful man said the MLC.

In response to a reporter’s query on why the party did not give Mr. Kumar the MP  ticket in the last election, Mr. Bhandary said that the party was unhappy about Mr. Kumar, adding that Mr. Kumar is out of the party today because he had lost the party workers’ confidence.

He also expressed his confidence that this will have no bearing whatsoever on the electoral fortune and that the BJP will continue to win in DK.
