Mangalore, June 4, 2014: Members of Dakshina Kannada District Dalit organisations Committe protested before the DC Office here on Wednesday, over what they termed as an “insult and false case foisted on the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) P. Ravindranath.”

They urged the government to arrest those officials who practiced untouchability against ADGP. State government’s decision to hand over the investigation to Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was not acceptable to them and demanded a CBI probe.


Delit leaders Prof. M P Umeshchandra, Nirmal Kumar, Ashok Konchadi, Anand Bellare and others were present.
