Mangalore : Court orders cops to probe complaint against Owaisi

Mangalore, Feb 6, 2013  :  The Second Judicial Magistrate’s Court has ordered the Mangalore  South Police to investigate into a complaint lodged in the court against the Andhra MLA  and  Majlis-e-Ithihadul Muslimeen leader Akbaruddin Owaisi.

The latest directive comes in the wake of a petition filed in the court by one K Narayana Shetty  alleging Owaisi had made a hate speech on January 4.

The petitioner has also alleged that through his speech, Owaisi has hurt the religious sentiments of the  people. He has even  produced a CD containing a video of the alleged offensive speech by Owaisi.
