Mangalore: Cook at Kashi Mutt killed in group fight

Mangalore, Jan 1, 2013 : A person working as a cook at the Kashi Mutt at Carstreet in Mangalore, was stabbed to death in a clash between two groups on the night of December 31, Monday. The deceased person has been identified as Mahesh Prabhu(33).

 

The accused  Nanda Kumar(28), also a worker at the Mutt, has been arrested on the charges of killing Mahesh. He is said to be from Kerala.

 

Though the exact reason for the clash is not known, sources reveal that two groups were not in good terms over some issue since some time and the clash broke out late on Monday night.

 

 Mangalore North Police have registered a case. Investigations are in progress.
