Mangalore Airport gets international occupational safety certificate

Mangalore, March 13, 2012 : The Giant Accreditation Board of Australia and New Zealand has given the OHSAS: 18001-2000 to the Mangalore Airport in recognition of its occupational health and safety management system.

 

Mangalore Airport is the first to get such recognition in South India. The certificate was given after inspecting the airport twice.

M. R. Vasudeva, the airport director, said that this certificate will be valid this March 10, 2015.
