Man trying to smuggle ganja caught in Mangalore airport

  Mangalore, Oct 10, 2013 :  Officials at the Mangalore International Airport have seized three kg of ganja  from a passenger who was supposed to take a flight to Dubai on October 9, Wednesday.

The arrested man is Brijesh (20). Interrogations of Brijesh revealed that the ganja was supplied to him by a certain Sabir from Kannur and he was to hand it over to a man named Shaan in Dubai.

There is information that Brijesh was promised cash in return for the work.

Had Brijesh escaped the eyes of the officials at Mangalore Airport and boarded the flight, he would have been caught at Dubai Airport. Moreover there  is severe punishment for drug peddlers in Dubai.
