Man from Parkala succumbs to rat fever

Udupi, August 9, 2024: A man from Parkala Vithalwadi has succumbed to rat fever. The deceased is Subrahmanya Naik (52).

Naik who developed fever recently was admitted to a hospital in Manipal where it was confirmed that he was suffering from leptospirosis or rat fever. However, he failed to repond to treatment and passed away.
