Man found dead on rly track; suicide suspected.

Kundapur, Nov 9, 2013 : The body of a man hailing from Nada village was found on the railway track near Guddemmady here on November 8, Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Shanker (48).

It is suspected that Shanker had    ended his life by coming under a moving train in a drunken stupor.  It is learnt, he was crushed to death by a train heading towards Mangalore from Goa.

Shanker, a married man with three children was suffering from domestic problems and had left home early in the morning. It is learnt, he was fully drunk when he had  jumped onto the track even as a train was approaching. Gangolli police have registered a case.
