Man arrested for sexually harassing woman in grocery shop

Puttur, Sep 16, 2022: Puttur Police have arrested one person in connection with the recent incident wherein a woman was sexually harassed while she had been to a shop to purchase groceries.

 

The arrested person is Badruddin of Sorake village. The incident took place on Wednesday evening. The shop owner had gone out to have tea when Badruddin who was in the shop tried to harass the woman.

When the woman screamed for help the accused had fled from the spot.
