Man arrested for raping young woman in hospital

Mangaluru, May 30, 2024: A young man from Kerala has been arrested after a young woman has lodged a police complaint alleging that she was raped by him at a hospital in Mangaluru after bringing her there for treatment.

 

The accused has been identified as Sajith. He had brought the woman to a hospital in Mangaluru for treatment of piles. There he had raped her and used to threaten her using her nude photos. He had allegedly also taken her to a hotel later and raped her there too. Later when the woman was admitted to another hospital following food poisoning, the youth again allegedly repeated his act.

It is learnt he also threatened to kill the woman who later lodged a complaint at Kadri police station.
