Man arrested at Mangalore airport with passport of another person

Mangalore, Dec 29, 2012 : Immigration officials at Mangalore airport, on December 28, Friday have detained a passenger who travelled using the passport of another person.

The accused Santosh Kumar (52) had landed in the airport by a flight from Dubai when he was trapped. He hails from Garodi in Kankanady. He was found in possession of the passport of one Dayanand Narayan Poojari of Sakinaka in Mumbai.It is a surprise as to how this fraud went unnoticed by the immigration officials at Dubai.

The accused Santosh has been handed over to Bajpe police for further investigations.
