Malpe: Two arrested for sending confidential naval information to Pakistan

Udupi, Nov 21, 2025: Police have arrested two individuals for illegally sharing confidential information related to Indian Navy ships and other sensitive details via WhatsApp, allegedly for monetary gain. The arrested accused have been identified as Rohit and Santri, both originally from Uttar Pradesh.

The duo was produced before the court, which has remanded them to judicial custody, Udupi Superintendent of Police Hari Ram Shankar said.
