Magician Mali sisters win Kala Vikasa Bala Puraskar

Mangalore, Feb 10, 2014 :  Well-known junior magicians, the Mali sisters  Apoorva Mali and Anjana Mali of Mangala Magic World Kadri, in Mangalore were conferred the Gaana Yogi Panchakshari Gavai  Kala Vikasa Bala Puraskar 2014 Awards  for their outstanding contributions to the field of magic at a very young age.

The awards were presented  during the Kala Vikasa Utsav 2014 held at Gadag on February 7, 8 and 9 in memory of Bharata Ratna Dr Bhimsen Joshi under the aegis of Kala Vikasa Parishad and Vidyadana Samithi, Gadag.

 The programme was earlier inaugurated by the Mali sisters themselves. The two who are studying at the Canara High School (CBSC) at Dongerkeri in Mangalore, also presented a magic show which mesmerized the gathering.

They are the children of Rajesh Mali and Shubharaj who too are well known as magician couple.
