MRPL reports strong Q3 and nine-month FY26 results, achieves multiple awards

Mangalore, January  15 , 2026: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC and a Schedule “A” Mini Ratna Category I company, has announced its financial results for the third quarter (Q3) and nine months (9M) of FY 2025-26. The Board of Directors approved the standalone and consolidated results during its 272nd meeting held today.

Financial Performance – Q3 FY 2025-26:

Revenue from operations: ₹29,720 crore, up from ₹25,601 crore in Q3 FY 2024-25.

Profit before tax (PBT): ₹2,214 crore, compared to ₹469 crore in the same quarter last year.

Profit after tax (PAT): ₹1,445 crore, up from ₹304 crore.

Debt-equity ratio: Improved from 0.79 (September 30, 2025) to 0.63 (December 31, 2025).

Financial Performance – 9M FY 2025-26:


Revenue from operations: ₹76,661 crore, slightly lower than ₹81,676 crore in 9M FY 2024-25.

Profit before tax (PBT): ₹2,786 crore, reversing a loss of ₹471 crore in the previous year.

Profit after tax (PAT): ₹1,812 crore, compared to a loss of ₹313 crore in 9M FY 2024-25.

Total borrowings: Reduced from ₹12,867 crore to ₹9,290 crore over the nine months.

Debt-equity ratio: Improved from 0.99 (March 31, 2025) to 0.63 (December 31, 2025).

The company also expanded its operational capabilities, commencing crude storage in the newly leased Cavern Storage facility from ISPRL, Mangalore on 25 October 2025, and began processing Sarir Mesla crude from Libya (API ~37.24) for the first time.
