Recalling his 28-year association with Rajanna, Dr. Rajendra Kumar said the former minister had in-depth knowledge of the cooperative sector from the grassroots and always prioritised village-level cooperative societies. “His efforts gave the cooperative movement in the state a strong foundation and contributed to its growth. His removal has come as a setback to the sector,” he remarked.

He added that Rajanna’s dedicated service was still much needed for the state. “His exit from the Cooperation Ministry is truly unfortunate,” he said.
