MLA Bharat Shetty donates plasma

Mangaluru, Sep 18, 2020:    Mangalore North MLA Dr Y Bharat Shetty celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday by donating plasma at K S Hegde Hospital in Deralakatte on Thursday.

 

 

Dr Shetty donated plasma to help patients fighting the Covid-19 infection.  He was the first MLA to have tested positive to coronavirus. After regaining health, Dr Shetty is creating awareness about Covid-19. Prior to donating plasma, he was subjected to a string of tests and his approval was obtained on Wednesday.

The MLA’s act of donating plasma has come in for praise from his fans as well as the fans of Modi.
