Loudspeaker use : Notices served to 345 institutions in Udupi

Udupi, April 07, 2022: The Police Department in Udupi has served notices to 345 religious and other institutions with regard to use of loudspeakers beyond permissible limits.

 

Notices have been served to 122 mosques, 120 temples, 44 churches, eight pubs and seven other organisations while the remaining institutions will soon be served notice and action would be taken against the violators as per the High Court orders, said Udupi SP N Vishnuvardhan.
