Lokayukta sleuths trap Belthangady surveyor

Belthangady, Oct 11, 2013 :  Lokayukta sleuths have on October 10, Thursday arrested a surveyor in Belthangady taluk while he was accepting bribe  from a  person from Shishila.

The arrested surveyor is Eeregowda Kutticha from Hassan.

He was nabbed while he  was receiving Rs 2000 from  Purushottam Gowda It is learnt, Gowda had applied for a sketch of his five cents land and that the surveyor had demanded a higher amount of bribe and had finally agreed for Rs 2000.

Gowda had then complained to the Lokayukta which eventually trapped the surveyor.

C Mohandas, Mangalore Lokayukta SP, Vittaldas Pai, DySP and others were part of the raiding team.
