Lineman electrocuted while working on line in Kadaba

Kadaba, June 1, 2023: In a tragic incident that once again highlights the dangers that linemen face while performing their duties and the need for proper safety protocols to be put in place, a lineman lost his life on Thursday while working on a line in Talakki of Kutruppdi Village in Kadaba Taluk.

The lineman has been identified as Dyamanna Dodmani, a resident of Bagalakote.

It is reported that there was a problem in the electricity supply at Kadaba Mulimajalu, and while the lineman Dhyamanna, who was working on the line, was trying to fix the issue, he was electrocuted. Though he was taken to the Kadaba Community Health Center for initial treatment and later transferred to Puttur for further treatment, it has already been reported that he died.
