Lightning strike damages house near Bellare

 Sullia, Nov 27, 2013 : A house at  Kolambala Boliyamoole near Bellare has been partially damaged in a lightning strike   on November 26, Tuesday evening. The electrical wiring of the house has been completely destroyed in the lightning strike.

The house belonged to Lingappa Shetty. Luckily no one was hurt as Lingappa’s wife and son were just returning from the beedi branch when the mishap took place.

The electric meter of the house is in pieces and the walls have developed cracks. The occupants of the house said all electronic equipment  in the house too have been burnt and the roof tiles shattered.
