Leopard that caused panic trapped in Hirgana

Karkala, April 07, 2022: A leopard which had created a panicky situation in a residential area at Chikkablettu of Hirgana village, was trapped in a cage by forest personnel on April 7, Thursday.

 

The leopard was spotted in the village since a week following which the villagers had informed the forest officials. The Department personnel who visited the spot had placed a cage to trap the leopard. On Thursday, the leopard was caught in the cage much to the relief of the villagers.
