It is said that the landslide in the railway track near Kulshekar is the main reason for the cancellation of trains on Saturday June 26.

The railway authority here Mangalore said that all the trains going to and from Kerala on the route had either been cancelled or regulated at different stations till the debris were cleared. They will make necessary arrangements to clear the mud fell on the track by evening.

The sudden halt of train services have generated confusion among the passengers, who have booked tickets. The railway department in Mangalore has also stopped issuing tickets. They said that alternative arrangements have been made where passengers can move to Surathkal railway station by a bus arranged by railway authority. The passengers who have booked ticket can board Mumbai bound train from Surathkal, they said.
