Land slide: Bangalore - Mangalore train cancelled

Mangalore, October 4: The Kannur – Yeshwanthapura train was cancelled on Sunday evening owing to a land slide that occurred at Sirivagilu near Subramanya.

The train had arrived at Mangalore from Kannur and could not move any further because the soil and debris had covered the tracks.

Currently, the debris is being cleared and railway officials say that the train was cancelled because they do not know if they will be able to clear the track by Sunday night.
