In other metros, the price of a domestic cylinder now stands at ₹912.50 in Mumbai, ₹939 in Kolkata and ₹928.50 in Chennai. In Bengaluru, the cost has risen to ₹915.5 from ₹855.5.

This is the second hike in the past year. The last increase was in April 2025, when prices were raised by ₹50.

The latest revision follows a sharp rise in global energy prices after the West Asia conflict escalated on February 28. LPG prices vary from state to state depending on local taxes such as VAT.

However, more than 10 crore beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will continue to receive a subsidy of ₹300 per 14.2-kg cylinder for up to 12 refills per year.

Meanwhile, the price of commercial LPG cylinders used by hotels and restaurants has been increased by ₹114.5 per 19-kg cylinder. In Delhi, the revised price now stands at ₹1,883.

This hike comes after a ₹28 increase in commercial cylinder prices on March 1, taking the total rise this year to ₹302.50.
