Kuthar Koragajja Circle row: U.T. Khader says villagers united, dismisses social media controversy

Mangaluru, May 9, 2026: Karnataka Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader has reacted to the controversy surrounding the Koragajja Circle issue that recently went viral on social media, stating that unnecessary importance should not be given to the remarks of a few individuals.

Speaking to reporters, Khader said responding to every issue circulated on social media was not necessary. He alleged that “two outsiders” had come and made statements, but maintained that the local residents were united and there was no division among them.

“The people of the village are together and there is no dispute among them. There is no need to give importance to the comments of one or two individuals or hold discussions over it,” he said.

Khader further invited the public to participate in the unveiling programme of the Koragajja Circle in the coming days. He stressed the need for maintaining a positive outlook and avoiding negativity.

“The villagers are united. There may be one or two people who have gone astray, but it is the responsibility of the community to guide them in the right direction, and we will do that,” he added.
